Where, in your body do you feel tension, right now?

This is not a question to challenge or judge .... its engaging your mind to be curious.

To Notice.   What is your body feeling right now?   

Even when you are relaxing.  When there is no work pressure.   Have you noticed "a holding" in our body.  A charged state that never quite leaves you.    You cannot explain it, as you have given yourself the time to relax.   That is your nervous system trying to find balance.  Trying to regulate.  Letting your body and mind know where the tension lies.   

Modern day living demands a very charged state of being "Fight or Flight".  Our body, mind and energy is set for motion, production, social engagement.  Its a constant pressure to enjoy having time off, very little time to just BE.      The nervous system needs to know that you care enough for self-care.  To Recharge.  Quietly.  Safely.  Daily.

I have over 30 years practicing yoga (teaching since 2010).   Yoga has been my therapy for more than half my lifetime.  My teachings have morphed hugely as Ive grown wiser.    I now teach a Gentle Flow Yoga which invites a  slow and deeper practice to match the frequency of Midlife (50 and beyond) as well as Yin yoga which encourages the entire system to come into a state of deep awareness and hydrates the tissues at a cellular level.   

I also offer deep healing to the Nervous System via Reflexology and Energy Healing - similar to Reiki,  you relax entirely and allow me, your Therapist,  uncover and release any blocks or holding in your body.    A sense of complete wellbeing and ease results from this combined therapy.  

I encourage you, no matter what phase you are in, to start gently with retraining the physical body,  improve your posture, tweak your lifestyle and diet to match what your body needs now..... and honour your Nervous System.

BODY-MIND INTEGRATION

Our body keeps the score of  blocked  emotions and patterns from life.   This can lead to a disconnect and a feeling of not being safe in your body, sabotaging future possibilities and best outcomes. The body is always bracing.  Learn to reconnect with your nervous system to find equilibrium in body and mind. 

TAPPING FOR FREEDOM

A tapping technique for emotional freedom.  We tap into the meridian points and the main lymph node areas.    Simple, safe and effective for use at home.  But such a hugely effective release of holding patterns,  physically and emotionally. 

REFLEXOLOGY 

This a non invasive complementary therapy that applies gentle targeted pressure to points on the feet or hands  to promote overall wellbeing.  This can effectively treat pain, anxiety, insomnia and many other issues.   Proven scientifically to harmonise the body, calm the mind.

REBALANCE ENERGETICS

We work with the energy body to return you to your natural frequency of vitality and peace.  This weaves together energy healings such as reiki, touch point therapy and bio energy to bring about balance and harmony.    This rebalance will expand your energy field and bring that level of peace and trust to your mind.  

GENTLE SOMATIC  YOGA

  I help clients  adopt a practice that compliments their busy lifestyle and exercise.  Gentle yoga (or  tai chi, Qi gong ) helps keep us centered, teaches us to breathe correctly and shifts energy in the body.   Embodiment is not a "trendy" catchphrase, its understanding how you hold your body and  connect to that energy.

VISUALISATION AND GUIDED MEDITATION

We are energy beings living a human life in times of severe overload to our systems.  It is essential to Learn to  connect at a deeper level, use your breath to calm your Nervous System and TRUST yourself and the decisions you make for your life.
